About DetailingRider
A Sonipat studio that started in 2019 with one bay and a rule we still follow: do the job properly or tell the customer it cannot be done.
How it started
In 2019 there was no proper detailing studio in Sonipat. If you wanted paint protection film or a real paint correction, you drove to Delhi and spent the day in traffic. The other choice was the local wash, where one dirty cloth often went over ten cars in a row.
We started small, with a single bay and one polishing machine. Word spread mostly through friends and family. Customers who liked the result came back with a second car, then sent their relatives.
That steady growth is why we now have three studios. The approach has not changed much since the first year. It has just become more careful as we learned what goes wrong when people rush.
How the work is done
Every car goes through the same basic routine, from a simple wash to full body PPF.
Inspection under lights
We walk around the car with you under bright inspection lights and note swirls, chips, dents and old repairs before anything starts.
Two-bucket wash
One bucket for soapy water, one for rinsing the mitt, so grit from the lower panels does not get dragged across the bonnet.
Paint thickness check
A gauge tells us how much clear coat is left on each panel. Thin or repainted panels get a lighter polish, or none at all.
Work in indoor bays
PPF, ceramic coating and polishing happen indoors, away from dust, wind and direct sun that would ruin the finish.
Final check with you
We go over the car again under the same lights so you can see the result for yourself before you leave.
Why we care about the slow parts
Most paint damage we see is not from accidents. It comes from dry wiping a dusty car, automatic brushes, and polishing done with a heavy compound and no measurement. Haryana dust and hard borewell water make it worse.
So the boring steps matter most. A proper wash, a decontamination before polishing, a gauge reading before the machine touches the paint. Skipping them saves an hour and can cost you your clear coat.

Our three studios
Each studio follows the same routine and checklists that we use in Sonipat.
Sonipat head office
Our first and largest studio, which handles every service and serves towns across Sonipat district and nearby parts of Delhi.
Panipat Gold studio
A Gold franchise on Refinery Road, opened after many Panipat customers were making the trip down to Sonipat.
Hardoi Silver studio
A Silver franchise in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. For PPF or ceramic coating there, call the studio to check options and slots.
What we will not do
We do not do roadside rubbing. Heavy compound on a rotary machine with no gauge can make a car shine for a week, but it eats clear coat and leaves holograms that show up in the sun later.
We do not fit dark tint that breaks the law. CMVR Rule 100 asks for at least 70% visibility on the windscreen and rear glass and 50% on the sides. Dark film gets you stopped and fined, and it makes night driving in winter fog more dangerous. We would rather fit a good ceramic film in a legal shade that cuts heat without going dark.
We also do not promise what the paint cannot give. If a scratch has gone through to the primer, polishing will soften it, not erase it. We say that at the start, and if dent and paint work is the better answer, we tell you.
If you want to bring this way of working to your own city, read about the DetailingRider franchise.
Questions people ask
When did DetailingRider start?
We opened in Sonipat, Haryana in 2019. The Sonipat studio is still our head office and the largest of our three studios.
Is the work at the Panipat and Hardoi studios the same as Sonipat?
They follow the same wash routine, checks and checklists. Service lists can differ, so for PPF or ceramic coating in Hardoi it is best to call that studio first.
Why do you measure paint thickness?
Every car has a limited amount of clear coat. Measuring first tells us how much can safely be polished, so we fix swirls without thinning the paint too far.
Do you work on older cars as well as new ones?
Yes. A lot of our work is on cars that are five or ten years old and have gone dull. We check the paint first and tell you honestly how far it can come back.
