Rohtak cars, highway miles and how to protect them
Our studio is in Sonipat, about 45 km from Rohtak via Kharkhoda. Here is what we recommend for Rohtak cars and how to plan the trip so it is worth it.
Why Rohtak owners make the drive
Rohtak is a big city with plenty of washing centres, so it is fair to ask why anyone would drive to Sonipat. The honest answer is that most Rohtak customers come to us for the long-term work, film and coatings, where the quality of the fit decides whether it lasts 1 year or 5. A wash you can get anywhere. A clean PPF edge around a headlamp is harder to find.
The cars themselves have a particular story. Many are owned by people who drive a lot, doctors and staff going between PGIMS and Delhi, families with students at MDU, people working at IMT Rohtak. Those cars cover long highway distances at speed, sit in open parking through summers that cross 44°C, and get washed in a hurry with shared cloths.

Full front PPF for highway driving
At 80 to 100 km/h, small stones hit hard. After a year of regular trips towards Delhi, Jhajjar or Hisar, a bare bonnet is usually peppered with chips. Paint protection film on the bonnet, bumper, fenders and mirrors absorbs those hits.
For cars that cover real highway distance, full front coverage is the best value. Full body PPF makes sense for a new premium car or a dark colour you want to keep perfect. PPF comes with a written warranty, up to 5 years depending on the film.

Pick the right day
Most ceramic grades and front PPF need the car for 1 to 2 days, and full body PPF 2 to 3. Plan around a day you can manage without the car.
Drive in early
The route via Kharkhoda takes about an hour to an hour and a quarter. Arriving by 10 AM lets us start prep the same morning.

Many Rohtak customers combine the drop-off with a Sonipat or Delhi errand, or leave the car with us and take a bus or train back. The studio is open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM, so a Friday drop-off works well for a car you need again on Monday.
Questions people ask
Is it worth driving 45 km for PPF or ceramic coating?
For long-term protection, yes. Film and coatings last years, and the prep and fitting decide whether they peel, lift or haze early. You make the trip once for work that stays on the car.
Can I get the job done in one day and drive back?
Partial PPF, interior detailing and most detailing packages are same-day. Full front PPF and higher coating grades usually need an overnight stay so the car can cure properly before the highway.
Does sun damage from Rohtak summers need correction before coating?
If the paint looks chalky or dull on the roof and bonnet, yes. A coating locks in whatever finish is underneath, so we polish first. See the price list for correction stages.
Can you restore yellow headlamps?
Yes. Headlight restoration is part of our paint correction work. We sand and polish the lens and then protect it so it does not yellow again quickly.
