PPF for Murthal cars that live on the highway
Night drives past the dhaba strip mean tar, bugs and stones from trucks. Clear, self-healing film keeps that off your paint, fitted at our Sonipat studio a short drive away.
The Murthal stretch is hard on the front of a car
Murthal is best known for its dhabas, and that means traffic at all hours. Families drive up from Delhi for parathas late in the evening, students at the university head out to the highway, and goods trucks keep rolling past the toll plaza all night. Every one of them is throwing grit forward and backward at highway speed.
The result is a front end full of small chips, plus tar spots low on the doors and insects baked onto the bumper in summer. Paint protection film takes the chips, and the slick top coat lets the tar and insect residue wash off without scrubbing.
In winter the fog on this stretch can be thick, and cars come home wet and grey with road film. That is when people grab any cloth to clean the windscreen and bonnet, and that is where swirl marks start.

See what PPF covers
Choose a coverage to see which panels get film, then watch the seven steps we follow on every panel. The stone chip and self-healing tests show what the film does on the road. Drag the car to look around it.

Panels that suffer most on NH-44
If you only cover a few parts of the car, these are the ones.
Bonnet leading edge
The first painted surface a stone meets. Chips here are the most common thing we see on highway cars.
Front bumper
Low down and directly in line with gravel thrown up by the vehicle in front.
Headlamps
Film stops pitting and slows the yellowing that makes lamps look old and throw a weaker beam in fog.
Mirrors and A-pillars
Mirror caps stick out into the airflow and collect chips and insect stains quickly.
Door edges
Packed dhaba car parks mean doors touching other cars. Thin edge guards stop the small dings.
How far the studio is
We do not have a studio in Murthal. Your car comes to our Sonipat head office, about 10 km away, which is roughly a 20 minute drive along the Murthal road. That is close enough that many owners drop the car in the morning and get a lift back.
Pickup and drop can be arranged on request, so ask when you book. The studio is open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM, and closed on Sundays.
From drop-off to pickup
Highway cars need a little more cleaning than most before film can go on.
Inspection
We check the paint with you and mark existing chips, so there are no surprises later.
Tar and bug removal
Tar remover, insect remover, iron remover and clay. Anything left on the paint would show under the film.
Paint correction if needed
Swirls from fog-morning wipe-downs are polished out before they get sealed in.
Fitting
Film is cut for your model, laid wet, squeegeed and wrapped around edges where possible.
Final check
Every edge is checked before you get the keys, the warranty card and a short aftercare talk.
Washing a filmed car after highway trips
Leave the car unwashed for the first week. After that, rinse off insects and soot within a day or two of a long drive, before the sun bakes them on. A pH-neutral shampoo and a clean mitt are all the film needs.
Avoid roadside washers who wipe every car with the same cloth. The film heals fine marks, but grit dragged across it again and again will dull it. A ceramic coating on top makes highway grime rinse off even more easily. If the car also needs a full clean inside and out, see car detailing for Murthal.
PPF comes with a written warranty, up to 5 years depending on the film. Prices for each level of coverage are on the price list.
Questions people ask
How long is the drive from Murthal to your studio?
About 10 km, usually around 20 minutes. Pickup and drop can be arranged on request if you cannot bring the car yourself.
Will PPF stop insect stains?
It helps a lot. Insect residue sits on the film's top coat instead of etching into the clear coat, and it washes off more easily. It is still best to rinse it off within a day or two.
I only drive to Delhi on weekends. Do I need full front?
Not always. For weekend highway use, partial front covering the bonnet edge, bumper and mirrors is often enough. If you drive NH-44 several times a week, full front is the better choice.
Does film help with fog and headlight glare?
Film on the headlamps keeps them clear and stops pitting, which helps the beam on foggy winter nights. It does not change how bright the lamps are, but it slows the yellowing that dims them over time.
Can film be fitted on a car with a few chips already?
Yes. The film covers them and stops new ones, but existing chips will still be visible underneath. Some owners have them touched up through our dent and paint service first.
Where are PPF prices listed?
On the price list, which covers every coverage level and finish.
