Looking after a new cabin from the start
A new car interior is easy to keep nice and very hard to bring back once it is stained. The best time to think about it is in the first few months, before dust and sweat get into the fabric.
Take the plastic covers off the seats. They look protective but they hold moisture against the fabric and make the seat sweaty and smelly in summer. A first light interior clean removes the dust from delivery and the sticky residue that covers sometimes leave behind.
If your new car has glossy piano black trims or a large touch screen, those scratch easily. Interior PPF is a clear film that protects them, and it is best fitted while they are still unmarked.
What dry winds and grit do to an interior

Summer heat and the smells it brings
Kharkhoda summers regularly cross 44 degrees. A car parked outside a factory or in the market for a few hours becomes an oven, and anything left in it, a water bottle, a lunch box, a damp towel, starts to smell. The heat also bakes sweat into the seats.
We clean the fabric out with steam and low-moisture extraction, so the seats are dry within a few hours, and treat lasting smells with an enzyme cleaner or ozone. To keep the cabin cooler afterwards, look at legal sun film under window tinting in Kharkhoda.
A simple sunshade on the windscreen and parking nose-in under a tree or a shed where you can also help. Leather seats in particular last much longer when they are not cooked every afternoon, and the dashboard top keeps its colour for years longer.

My car is only a few months old. Does it need interior cleaning?
A light clean is worth it, mainly to get delivery dust and seat cover residue out before they settle in. A full detail can wait until the cabin actually needs it.
Should I keep the plastic seat covers on?
We suggest taking them off. They trap heat and moisture against the fabric and the seat underneath often ends up smelling worse than an uncovered one.
Why does my AC smell dusty when I start the car?
Dust has built up in the vents and often in the cabin air filter. We clean the vents, and if the filter is choked we show you so it can be replaced at your next service.
Can you protect the touch screen from scratches?
Yes. Interior PPF is a clear film fitted on screens and glossy trims. It is best done while they are still new and unmarked.
How long will the seats take to dry?
Usually a few hours after extraction. Most cars are dry by the time you collect them in the evening.
