Car accessories, picked and fitted properly
Seat covers, mats, lights and dash cams from the people who clean the inside of cars every day, fitted at our studio with wiring done the right way.
Why we are fussy about accessories
We spend our days inside other people's cars, so we see what happens to accessories after a year. Seat covers that sag and slide, mats that bunch up under the brake pedal, a dash cam that died in its first May, a set of LED bulbs that left the car with a flat battery after a long weekend.
So we keep a short range of things that hold up, explain where spending more is worth it and where it is not, and fit everything ourselves. If you are already booking a detail or a coating, the fitting can happen in the same visit.
What we stock and fit
Stock changes with new arrivals and car models, so send your model before you come in.

Seat covers, mats and the bits people get wrong
Many modern cars have side airbags built into the seat. A cover with the wrong stitching on that side can slow or block the airbag. If your seats have them, we fit covers designed to allow for it.
Mats are the cheapest protection a cabin can get, but a loose mat that slides forward under the pedals is a real safety problem. We fit mats that sit on the car's own hooks or grip the floor, so they stay put.
Seat covers also trap dust. If the seats under them are already dirty, it is worth a quick interior clean before the new covers go on.
Dash cams and clean wiring
A dash cam is one accessory where the cheapest option usually costs more in the end. Budget units often freeze or fail in summer, when a parked car's cabin gets hot enough to warp plastic.
We run the cable along the headliner and down the pillar trim so nothing hangs across the windscreen. For parking recording, the camera is wired with a low-voltage cut-off so it switches itself off before the battery runs too low to start the car.
Before you leave, we show you how to check that it is recording and how to save a clip.

Cheap wiring compared with proper fitting
Most battery and electrical complaints we see after accessory fitting come down to these four things.
| What goes wrong | Rushed fitting | How we fit it |
|---|---|---|
| Power source | Wires spliced into whatever is nearby | Fuse tap on the right circuit |
| Battery drain | Device runs even with the car off and parked | Switched with ignition, or a low-voltage cut-off |
| Joints | Twisted and taped | Crimped and insulated |
| Routing | Loose behind the dashboard, near pedals | Clipped along trims, away from pedals and airbags |
LED lights, done sensibly
Brighter is not always better. A very bright or very blue headlamp bulb in a housing not made for it scatters light into the eyes of oncoming drivers, which on NH-44 in winter fog is the last thing anyone needs. It may also not be road legal.
We suggest bulbs that suit your reflector or projector and keep the beam pattern clean. For cabin and boot lights, LEDs are a simple upgrade that use less power than the old bulbs.

Questions people ask
Do you fit accessories I bought somewhere else?
Usually, yes. Tell us what the product is first, so we can check it suits your car and that the wiring will be safe.
Will a dash cam drain my battery?
Not if it is wired properly. We connect it so it switches off with the ignition, or for parking mode we use a low-voltage cut-off so there is always enough charge to start the car.
Are LED headlamp bulbs legal?
It depends on the bulb, the housing and how bright and what colour it is. We suggest options that suit your headlamp and do not blind oncoming traffic, and we will tell you if something you want is likely to cause trouble.
Can seat covers be fitted on seats with side airbags?
Yes, with covers made for it. These have a seam on the airbag side that lets the airbag open. We check your seats before fitting.
Do accessories come with a warranty?
That depends on the product and its maker. We tell you the warranty terms before you buy, and if something we fitted comes loose, bring the car back and we will look at it.
Can accessories be fitted while my car is being detailed?
Yes. That is the easiest way to do it, and fitting on a freshly cleaned cabin means nothing gets sealed in under the new mats or covers.
