A border town with two kinds of car
Bahadurgarh sits right on Delhi's western edge in Jhajjar district, and we see two kinds of car from here. The first does the daily NH-9 commute into Delhi, bumper to bumper with buses and trucks, then back again in the evening. The second barely moves, parked all day at the Bahadurgarh City Park metro station or outside a unit in the MIE industrial area.
Both age fast, just differently. The commuter collects chips, soot and tar on the front. The parked car bakes in the sun and gathers industrial dust that turns to a grey paste with the first drizzle.
For the daily Delhi commute
Stop-start traffic on NH-9 is where the small chips and scuffs come from, plus the occasional nudge in a jam. Front paint protection film covers the bonnet, bumper, fenders and mirrors, and light scuffs in the film heal with warmth. PPF comes with a written warranty, up to 5 years depending on the film.
Diesel soot and tar build up on the lower panels and the rear. A Gold detail every few months, with tar and iron removal, takes off what a normal wash leaves behind.
For the car parked all day
A car standing at the metro parking or outside an MIE unit needs two things, protection from the sun and paint that dust cannot stick to. Ceramic window film in legal shades, 70% on the windscreen and rear glass and 50% on the side windows, keeps the cabin cooler and protects the dashboard from UV.
A ceramic coating handles the dust. On a coated car, dust and light soot come off with a rinse and a gentle wash. Grades from 7H to 9H+ last 1 to 5 years.

What we look at before suggesting anything

The drive to our Sonipat studio
The studio is about 40 km from Bahadurgarh. The usual route is the KMP Expressway towards Kundli and then up to Sonipat, or across via Kharkhoda. Either way, plan on 50 minutes to an hour and a bit, depending on traffic at the toll and the exits.

Questions people ask
Is the KMP Expressway safe for a car with fresh PPF or coating?
Yes, once it has cured. We usually keep coated cars overnight, and we tell you how long to avoid washing after PPF. Driving home on the expressway the next day is fine.
My car is parked at the metro station all day. Which service helps most?
Window film for the heat and a ceramic coating for the dust. If the paint is already hazy, a light polish before coating gives a much better result.
Can you remove tar spots from the lower doors?
Yes. Tar and iron removal is part of our Gold and Platinum detailing. Do not scrape them off yourself, as that scratches the paint underneath.
How long will my car be away for full front PPF?
Usually 1 to 2 days, depending on the model and how much prep the paint needs. Full body PPF takes 2 to 3 days. We plan the dates with you when you book.
Do you serve cars from the MIE industrial area?
Yes. Many cars come from units in MIE. Pickup from your workplace can be arranged on request so you do not lose a working day.
