What a week in Narela does to a car
Drive around Narela for a week and the car shows it. The DSIIDC industrial area puts fine dust and metal particles into the air, the grain mandi brings tractors and trolleys onto the roads, and the stretch to the Kundli border is shared with a steady line of trucks heading into Haryana.
That mix shows up in three ways. A grey film settles on the paint by evening, small stone chips appear on the bonnet and bumper, and the paint feels rough even after a wash. The roughness is bonded fallout, tiny iron specks from grinding and cutting work nearby that stick to the clear coat and slowly etch it in the sun.
Most Narela cars we see also carry swirl marks from being wiped with a duster every morning. The duster drags industrial grit across the paint, and after a few months the bonnet looks hazy under a street light.
Paint protection film for the Kundli border run
If you cross the Kundli border most days, the front of the car takes the beating. Gravel falls off loaded trucks and gets flicked back at bonnet height. Paint protection film is a clear, self-healing layer that takes those hits instead of your paint.
For Narela commuters we usually suggest full front PPF, which covers the bonnet, front bumper, fenders, mirrors and headlamps. These are the panels that actually get chipped, and you avoid the cost of wrapping the whole car. PPF comes with a written warranty, up to 5 years depending on the film.
Ceramic coating against factory dust
Film stops chips, but it does nothing about the daily layer of dust. A ceramic coating does. It makes the surface slick, so dust and fallout sit on top instead of bonding, and a plain rinse takes most of it away.
We offer 7H, 8H, 9H and 9H+ grades that last from 1 to 5 years. For a car parked near a factory all day, a mid or higher grade earns its keep because it is washed so often.

How long Narela jobs usually take
Interior detailing and a Silver or Gold detail are usually same-day jobs. Full front PPF and most ceramic grades need the car for 1 to 2 days, and full body PPF or a higher coating grade can take 2 to 3 days.
Prices for each package and film are on the price list. We confirm the final figure after seeing the car, because a bonnet already full of chips needs more preparation than a new one.
Questions people ask
Do you pick up cars from DSIIDC Narela?
Yes, on request. Give us your unit address and the time the car is free, and we arrange collection. For shorter jobs the car can often come back the same evening.
Is the iron fallout on my car really a problem?
Left alone, it rusts in place and leaves tiny orange specks that slowly etch the clear coat. It also stops a coating or film from bonding properly. A decontamination wash removes it before it does lasting harm.
My car mostly does the Narela to Delhi run. Is partial PPF enough?
Partial PPF covers the bonnet edge, bumper and mirrors, which is fine for slow city driving. If you also use NH-44 through the Kundli border often, the full bonnet and fenders get chipped too, so full front PPF is the safer choice.
Can I just wipe the dust off every morning?
Dry wiping is the main cause of the swirl marks we see on Narela cars. Rinse first, or use a waterless wash spray with a clean microfibre cloth. On a coated car the dust lifts off instead of grinding in.
Are you open on Sundays?
No. The studio is open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. If you need the car back for Monday, drop it on Friday or early Saturday.
