Why sugar mill dust is harder to clean
Gohana is a sugar mill town, and the dust here is different. Around the mill and the fields, it carries fine organic bits from cane and crops. In the morning dew it turns slightly sticky and bonds to the paint far better than plain road dust.
Add sap that drips off overloaded cane lorries and you get spots that a normal wash will not move. Scrub at them and you just spread the stickiness and scratch the paint around them.
Village roads and the grain market
The sugar mill is only part of it. Gohana also has a busy grain market, and village roads around town are lined with thorny hedges that brush along the doors. Cars parked at the mandi or outside shops in summer become ovens within an hour.
So a typical Gohana car comes in with three problems at once. Sticky dust on the paint, fine hedge scratches along the sides and a cabin that has been baked and smells of the mill. A proper detail deals with all three in one visit.

Clearing smells, not covering them
An air freshener only hides a mill smell for a day or two. The smell lives in the fabric, carpets and AC vents, so that is where it has to be cleaned out.

Driving in from Gohana
We do not have a studio in Gohana, so the car comes to our Sonipat head office on Sai Baba Road, about 35 km away. Many customers plan it around a trip into Sonipat. Pickup and drop can be arranged on request.

Questions people ask
Can sugarcane sap stains be removed?
Fresh sap comes off with a soak and a careful wash. If it has baked on for weeks, it may have left a dull mark that needs a machine polish to remove.
My car smells sweet and stale inside. Can you fix it?
Usually, yes. The smell sits in the fabric, carpets and vents, so steam cleaning, carpet extraction and an odour treatment take it out. Very old smells may need a second treatment.
Is it worth detailing during crushing season?
A Silver detail during the season keeps the dust under control. Save the Gold detail for when the season ends, so the polish and sealant are not hit straight away.
Do I have to drive to Sonipat?
Yes, there is no studio in Gohana, so cars come to our Sonipat head office. Pickup and drop can be arranged on request.
Will a coating help with mill dust?
A ceramic coating makes the surface slick, so mill dust and mud rinse off with water much more easily. It should go on after a Gold or Platinum detail, not before.
Can you remove hedge scratches along the doors?
Light hedge marks usually come out with the single-stage polish in Gold. Deeper lines may need the two-stage correction in Platinum. We look at them under lights first and tell you what is realistic.
How long will the car be at the studio?
Silver takes 2 to 3 hours and Gold 5 to 7 hours, so both can be done in a day. Platinum takes 1 to 2 days. Add a little time if the arches are packed with mud.
