Bird marks often need fixing first
Many cars we see from Bahalgarh have dull, ring-shaped marks on the roof and bonnet. These are etchings left by droppings that baked in the sun. A wash will not touch them because they are below the surface of the clear coat.
Light etching usually comes out with the machine polish included in every coating job. Deeper marks need paint correction, which we quote separately after showing you the panel under lights. Once the paint is level, the coating stops new droppings doing the same damage.
Which grade makes sense here
Grades differ in layers and lifespan, from 1 to 5 years.
7H for an older daily car
One layer, about a year of protection. Good if you want easier washing without a big commitment.
8H for a family car kept a few years
Two layers and about 2 years of life, a fair middle ground for mixed village and town driving.
9H for a new car parked outside
Three layers and about 3 years. Our usual suggestion for a new car that stands in the open.
9H+ for dark colours and long ownership
Base coat plus top coat, IR lamp cured, up to 5 years. Worth it if you plan to keep the car a long time.
Washing a coated car in dusty months
This routine keeps the coating doing its job through harvest and the monsoon.
Rinse with plenty of water
Flood the mud and dust off from top to bottom before any cloth or mitt touches the paint.
Shampoo with two buckets
Use a pH-neutral shampoo and rinse the mitt in a separate bucket so grit does not go back onto the car.
Dry with a soft towel
Do not let hard water dry in the sun, because it leaves white rings.
Deal with droppings quickly
Soak them with water and lift them off, never scrape a dried dropping.

My car is always dusty. Is coating a waste?
No, a dusty area is where coating helps most. The car will still get dusty, but the dust rinses off instead of needing to be scrubbed, so the paint stays free of swirls.
Can you remove old bird dropping marks before coating?
Light marks come out with the included polish. Deeper etching needs paint correction, and we will show you which panels need it before quoting.
Is a coating helpful against branch scratches on village lanes?
Only a little. It resists the lightest contact, but a thorny hedge will still scratch it. For doors that brush past branches often, film gives real protection.
Should I avoid booking during harvest?
You can book any time. Just plan to keep the car parked away from the mandi dust and trees for the first week while the coating cures.
Do I need to return to Sonipat for washes?
No, you can wash the car at home with the right method. A visit every few months for a check and spray sealant top-up helps it last longer.
How long does the coating keep beading on a car that sits outside?
With safe washing, close to the rated life of the grade. Beading may weaken earlier on the roof and bonnet, and a spray sealant top-up brings it back.
