Paint correction for Gohana car owners
Family cars in Gohana are kept for years, and the paint shows it. A careful machine correction at our Sonipat studio can bring back most of the original gloss.
Cars that have done a lot of years
Gohana families tend to keep a car for eight or ten years, sometimes longer, and pass it down rather than sell it. By then the paint has been through a decade of summers, hundreds of washes with a bucket and old cloth, and a few rounds of rubbing at local shops.
The result is familiar. The bonnet and roof look faded, the doors carry a fog of fine scratches, and the dark colours have turned grey. Owners often assume a repaint is the only option, but in most cases the original paint is still there under the damage.
Gohana is about 35 km from our Sonipat head office along the Gohana to Sonipat road. There is no studio in Gohana, so the car comes to Sonipat for the work.

Local causes we see on Gohana cars
Each one leaves a slightly different mark, and we treat them accordingly.
Cane season traffic
During the crushing season, loaded cane trolleys head for the sugar mill and drop mud and leaves on the road. Overtaking them coats the car in grit.
Grain market dust
Fine husk dust around the anaj mandi settles in every gap and scratches the paint when wiped off dry.
Repeated local rubbing
Heavy compound jobs done every year or two leave holograms and thin clear coat on edges and creases.
Long summer parking
Cars parked in open courtyards all day fade on the roof and bonnet first.
When the car has been rubbed many times
This is the most important question we ask Gohana customers. Every rubbing removes clear coat, and a car that has had five or six cheap jobs may have very little left on the bonnet edges and roof line.
We measure each panel with a thickness gauge before deciding anything. Where the paint is thin, we use a gentle finishing polish to improve gloss without cutting deeper. Where it is healthy, a full two or three stage correction is safe.

Planning the trip from Gohana
Because of the distance, a little planning saves you a second trip.
Send photos first
Share a few clear photos of the bonnet, roof and any scratches on WhatsApp +91 72063 13033, taken in daylight.
Book a slot
We suggest a likely level and book a bay, so the car can start as soon as it arrives.
Come in early
Arriving around 9 AM gives a single stage job time to finish the same day. Pickup and drop can be arranged on request for longer jobs.
Inspection and go-ahead
We confirm the level after the thickness check and only start once you agree.
Correction before you sell or pass the car on
If the car is going to a buyer or to a younger family member, correction is often the most useful thing you can spend on it. A two stage correction with headlight restoration and an interior clean makes an older car look cared for.
Some marks will not polish out. Deep scratches that reach the primer and stone chips need touch-up or dent and paint work, and we point them out at inspection. Rates for every correction stage are on the price list.
Once the paint is corrected, stop the yearly roadside rubbing. Gentle washing and a coat of sealant twice a year will keep the gloss far longer.
Questions people ask
My car is ten years old. Is correction still worth it?
Usually, yes. On older cars the damage is usually in the top layer, and the colour underneath is fine. We check the paint thickness first and tell you honestly if a repaint makes more sense.
Can the whole job be done in one day?
A single stage polish on a hatchback or sedan normally is, if the car arrives in the morning. Two and three stage work on an SUV takes one to two days.
Is there a DetailingRider studio in Gohana?
Not at present. Gohana cars come to our Sonipat head office, about 35 km away. Call +91 70561 03055 to book or ask about pickup.
Will correction remove the hazy rainbow marks from old rubbing?
Those holograms sit in the top of the clear coat and a careful finishing polish usually clears them. If the clear coat is already very thin, we improve them as far as is safe and stop.
Does mud from cane trolleys damage paint?
The mud itself is mostly harmless, but it carries sand. Wiping it off dry is what scratches the paint. Rinse it off with water first, especially from the lower doors.
Should I add a ceramic coating after correction?
If you plan to keep the car, it is a good idea. A ceramic coating makes dust and mud rinse off more easily and protects the corrected finish from sun fade.
