Paint protection film for Bahalgarh cars

Harvest season and your paint
In April and again in October and November, Bahalgarh's roads fill with tractor trolleys and grain lorries heading to and from the mandi. Mud and gravel fall off them and get thrown up by tyres at every overtake. Cars that follow them for even a few kilometres come back with fresh chips on the bumper.
The mandi also produces a very fine, gritty dust that settles on every parked car. Wipe it off dry and it acts like sandpaper on the clear coat. Add the NH-44 junction right next to town, with its constant truck traffic, and it is easy to see why paint here wears quickly.
Many local cars also do double duty. The same SUV takes the family to relatives in nearby villages, carries goods to the mandi and runs to Sonipat or Delhi on the highway. That mix of rough local roads and fast highway driving is exactly where film earns its keep.

Side and door cover for village roads
Most people think of PPF as a front-end product, and for highway cars it mostly is. On the narrower roads to the villages around Bahalgarh, though, thorny hedges and low branches brush along the sides of the car. Those long scratches on doors and rear quarters are some of the most common marks we polish out.
If you drive those roads often, ask about adding doors and rear quarters to front coverage, or going for full body film. Door edge guards are a cheap extra for crowded parking at the market.
Bringing the car to Sonipat
There is no studio in Bahalgarh. The car comes to our Sonipat head office, about 10 km away along the Bahalgarh road, usually a drive of around 20 minutes. Pickup and drop is available on request.

Three habits that keep film looking new
Film is tough, but dusty towns need a little care.
Rinse before you wipe
Always flood mandi dust off with water first. Never wipe a dusty car with a dry cloth.
Wash mud off soon
Mud from village roads dries hard on the lower panels. Wash it off before it bakes in the sun.
Keep away from shared cloths
Roadside washers often use one cloth on many cars. That grit dulls film over time.
When film is not the first step
If your car is already a few years old and the paint looks dull or hazy, film alone will not bring it back. That needs paint correction first, and then you can decide whether PPF or a ceramic coating is the better way to protect it.
For a newer car with good paint, front PPF and a ceramic coating on the rest of the body is a setup many local owners settle on.

Questions people ask
How far is your studio from Bahalgarh?
About 10 km, roughly 20 minutes by road. If you cannot drop the car yourself, pickup and drop can be arranged on request.
Does PPF protect against mandi dust?
Dust still settles on film, but the film's top coat is tougher than clear coat, and the light marks from wiping heal when warm. You still need to rinse dust off before washing to keep the film clear.
Can you cover only the doors and sides?
Yes. Coverage can be planned panel by panel. Owners who use village roads often add doors and rear quarters to a front package.
When is the best time to book?
Before harvest season is ideal, so the car is protected when the trolleys are on the road. The studio gets busy around festivals, so book a little ahead.
Will film hide scratches that are already there?
No. Film shows what is under it. Scratches should be polished out before film goes on, which is why we check the paint with you first.
Is matte film a good idea on dusty roads?
It works, but it needs more care. Matte film cannot be polished, so dust must always be rinsed off before washing. Most Bahalgarh owners stick with gloss, which is easier to live with.
