Car detailing for Kundli

Factory dust from IMT, soot from NH-44 and the KMP, and a morning dry wipe on top. We take all of it off at our Sonipat studio, a short drive up the highway.

Two kinds of dirt at once

A car that spends the day in IMT Kundli and the evening on NH-44 collects two different things. From the factories comes fine dust with tiny metal particles in it. From the highway and the KMP comes diesel soot, tar and road film thrown up by trucks.

Neither comes off fully with water and a cloth. The metal bits sit in the clear coat and can leave small rust-coloured dots on white paint. The road film turns the lower half of the car grey. And because both feel gritty, wiping them off dry in the morning leaves swirls all over the bonnet.

What we do differently for an industrial-area car

The wash is the same careful process, but decontamination gets more time.

  1. Longer foam soak

Snow foam is left on longer so factory dust lifts off before any mitt touches the paint.

  2. Iron remover on every panel

Not just the wheels. On Kundli cars the roof and bonnet often turn purple as the remover reacts with fallout.

  3. Clay bar

A clay pass takes out tar from the highway and whatever the iron remover missed, until the paint is smooth again.

  4. Polish and seal

On Gold and Platinum, a machine polish removes dry-wipe swirls, and a sealant makes next week's dust rinse off more easily.

Factory dust in fabric seats

Dust comes in on uniforms and shoes and settles deep into seat fabric.

The cabin gets the same treatment

Industrial dust does not stay outside. It rides in on work clothes, settles into seat fabric and gets pulled through the AC every time the blower runs. A vacuum lifts the top layer, but the rest stays in the weave.

In a Gold detail, seats, panels and vents are steamed, carpets are shampooed and extracted, and the cabin gets an odour treatment. If the inside is your main worry, our interior detailing for Kundli page goes into more detail.

Which package suits a Kundli car

A rough guide based on how the car is used.

Silver every three to four weeks

Foam, two-bucket wash, wheels, jambs, glass and a full vacuum. Enough to stop dust building up between deeper cleans.

Gold every two to three months

Adds iron and clay decontamination, a single-stage polish, sealant and the full interior deep clean.

Platinum once a year

Adds two-stage correction, headlight restoration, engine bay detailing and glass sealant. Good before a sale or a coating.

Getting the car to Sonipat

We do not have a studio in Kundli, so the car comes to our Sonipat head office on Sai Baba Road. Most Kundli customers drop it on the way to work or on a Saturday morning. Pickup and drop from Kundli can be arranged on request, so ask when you book.

Silver is done in 2 to 3 hours and Gold in 5 to 7, so a morning drop usually means an evening collection. Platinum needs 1 to 2 days.

Questions people ask

What are the small orange dots on my white car?

Those are usually iron particles from factory fallout and brake dust that have started to rust on the surface. The iron remover and clay bar in a Gold detail take them out. Left for months, they can etch the clear coat.

Can you collect my car from IMT Kundli?

Pickup and drop from Kundli is available on request. Tell us your location and a time when you call, and we will confirm.

Why does my car look dull even though it is washed daily?

A daily dry wipe or a roadside cloth drags factory grit across the paint and leaves fine swirls. Those scatter light and make the paint look flat. A polish removes them, and changing how the car is washed stops them coming back.

Does the AC smell come from the dust?

Often, yes. Dust and damp build up around the vents and under the seats. Steam cleaning the vents and an odour treatment in the Gold package usually clears it.

How often should I detail if I park outside the factory all day?

Silver every three to four weeks and Gold every two to three months works well for most Kundli cars. If the car also does the KMP daily, keep to the shorter end.

Is a detail worth it if the car gets dusty again the next day?

Yes, because the dust that lands the next day is loose and rinses off. What a detail removes is the bonded layer and the swirls underneath, which build up for months if left. A sealant on top also makes the daily dust easier to clear.
