Interior detailing and car dry cleaning
Seats, carpets, roof liner, vents and every gap in between, cleaned with steam and low-moisture extraction at our Sonipat studio. You drive home in a cabin that smells of nothing at all.
What interior detailing actually covers
Most people in Sonipat call it car dry cleaning. You want the seats, carpets and roof cleaned properly, but you do not want the car soaked and smelling damp for a week. That is the job we do every day at our Sonipat studio.
A wash outside makes a car look clean. The cabin is different, because it is the part you sit in, breathe in and put your children in. Dust from construction sites and dry fields comes in through the vents and on your shoes. Tea, juice and sweat soak into the fabric. Over a year, the seats turn a shade darker and the car starts to carry a smell you stop noticing, but your passengers do not.
Interior detailing removes that layer instead of hiding it under a perfume. We take the cabin apart as far as it sensibly goes, clean it from the roof down and finish the plastics so they do not look greasy.
Fabric seats and carpets without soaking them
Fabric seats hold dirt deep down in the foam, not just on the surface. We pre-treat stains, agitate the fabric with soft brushes and then use a hot water extraction machine. It sprays a small amount of solution in and pulls it straight back out with the dirt, so you can see the brown water collecting in the tank.
Steam goes on the hard-to-reach parts like seat rails, seat belt buckles and the stitching where crumbs collect. It loosens grime and kills most germs without any harsh chemical smell.
Carpets get the same treatment after a thorough dry vacuum. Rubber and 3D mats are scrubbed separately and dried before they go back in.

Parts of the cabin we clean
A full interior detail is much more than seats and a vacuum.
Roof liner
Cleaned with a light foam and a soft brush, never soaked, because too much water loosens the glue and makes the liner sag.
AC vents
Brushed and steamed slat by slat. If the cabin air filter looks choked, we show it to you so your service centre can change it.
Dashboard and trims
Wiped clean and finished with a non-greasy UV protectant that does not throw glare on the windscreen.
Carpets and boot
Vacuumed, shampooed and extracted, including the boot floor where mud and grocery spills end up.
Door pads and pockets
Scuff marks from shoes cleaned off and the door pockets emptied and wiped.
Inside glass
Cleaned streak-free, which makes a real difference when you drive into the low sun or through winter fog.
Fabric and leather seats need different care
Both get cleaned, but the method and the drying time are not the same.
| Fabric seats | Leather seats | |
|---|---|---|
| What goes wrong | Stains, sweat and dust sink into the foam | Dirt sits in the grain and the surface dries out |
| How we clean | Pre-treat, brush, steam and extraction | pH-balanced cleaner, soft brush, then conditioner |
| Drying time | A few hours, dry by evening | Almost none, ready when we finish |
| Looking after it | Seat covers are fine, avoid wet clothes | Wipe with a damp cloth, keep out of direct sun |
How your car goes through the studio
We work from the top of the cabin down, so dust never falls onto a part that is already clean.
Look and empty
We note stains and smells with you, then take out mats, child seats and loose items.
Dry vacuum
Every surface, under the seats and inside the seat rails, before any water touches the fabric.
Roof and vents
Roof liner foamed and brushed, vents steamed and wiped.
Seats and carpets
Fabric extracted or leather cleaned and conditioned, carpets shampooed.
Plastics and glass
Dashboard, console and door pads cleaned and protected, glass cleaned inside.
Odour and drying
Odour treatment if needed, then the car is aired with fans until the seats are dry to touch.
Odour, kids and pets
Smells usually come from something you cannot see. Milk spilled under a child seat, a wet umbrella left on the floor mat in the monsoon, or a dog that rides to the farmhouse every Sunday. Air fresheners only cover it for a few days.
We find the source first, clean it out, and then use an enzyme cleaner or an ozone treatment depending on the smell. Ozone needs the car closed for a while and then aired, so tell us in advance if smoke or pet smell is the main problem.
For families with small children, we clean under and around the child seat mounts, the seat belt buckles and the back of the front seats where little shoes kick. Pet hair is lifted with rubber brushes before vacuuming, because a vacuum alone leaves it woven into the fabric.
How long it takes and when it is dry
A full interior detail takes three to five hours, depending on the size of the car and how dirty it is. A seven-seater after a summer of school runs takes longer than a tidy hatchback.
Because we use low-moisture extraction, fabric seats are damp to the touch when we finish the extraction and dry within a few hours. Most cars dropped in the morning go home the same evening. In the monsoon, drive with the AC on fresh air mode for the first hour and keep the windows open a little when you park.
Interior detailing is part of our Gold and Platinum packages under car detailing, and you can also book it on its own. The rates for each car size are on the price list.

Glossy piano black trims and touch screens scratch easily even when you clean them gently. If yours are already marked, ask about interior PPF while the car is with us.

Questions people ask
Is car dry cleaning really dry?
It is low-moisture, not completely dry. Steam and extraction leave very little water behind, so fabric seats are dry within a few hours instead of a day or two.
Will every stain come out?
Fresh food, mud, tea and sweat stains usually come out fully. Old ink, dye from jeans and stains that have been scrubbed with detergent may only fade, and we will tell you that before we start.
Do you remove cigarette and pet smells?
Yes. We clean out the source first and then use an enzyme cleaner or an ozone treatment. Strong smoke smell sometimes needs a second session.
Do I need to wait at the studio?
No. Most people drop the car in the morning and collect it in the evening. Pickup and drop is available on request, and it is free on Gold and Platinum packages within Sonipat.
How often should the interior be detailed?
For a daily car in Sonipat, every three to four months works well, plus once after the monsoon. Call +91 70561 03055 to book a slot, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM.
